Underwater Acoustics SubTrack

Since 1973 Gearing & Watson has built an impressive range of underwater products. GW now offers complete turnkey solutions including transducers, drive electronics, towfish, tow cables, full handling systems, trials support and through life service.

The product range is led by Subtrack – a sonar target system which may be towed from a craft of opportunity, hull mounted on a submarine, deployed statically or mounted on the seabed. Subtrack is a sound source which generates the acoustic signature normally associated with a submarine or surface target. The system may also include an echo repeat capability to provide a realistic target for active sonars.
