Service Manager – Corona, CA

The Service Manager is responsible for leading the service and maintenance sales process and directing the team of service engineers in the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations and negotiates pricing with customers on a project by project basis, in accordance with company guidelines
  • Promotes the image of the company, its products and services and demonstrates and instructs in their uses
  • Performs troubleshooting and emergency call outs as may be required; assists with equipment start up and training as may be necessary
  • Ensure accurate and dedicated maintenance of CRM account details
  • Developing and managing installation and service schedules and crews ensuring timely completion of all jobs
  • Planning and executing detailed installation plans that meet both customer expectations and budget, including coordination of delivery and commissioning of all new test systems
  • Sourcing additional materials and parts needed for completion of projects
  • Fielding incoming calls from customers
  • Working with Sales team to communicate job status and problem solving
  • Direct management of the Service team

Skills/Experience

  • Must have a proven track record of high level understanding of electro mechanical system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Must have high level of organizational skills & possess the ability to meet project deadlines
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be computer literate with the ability to create basic word processing and spreadsheet documents
  • Experience in the vibration test industry is highly desired

Education

  • BS degree preferred and 10 years’ experience or combination of both
  • 5 years Management experience

Must have a valid drivers’ license and current US Passport
