Responsibilities:
• Mechanical and electrical assembly of instrumentation.
• Perform initial component testing with technical checklists.

• Document the testing processes, revisions and results of incremental changes to the production process.

Data Physics has a position open for a field service technician with significant opportunity for growth. The candidate will work closely with a team of other service technicians, sales managers and manufacturing technicians to service and manufacture shakers for testing applications.
Responsibilities:
• Work on electrodynamic shakers powered by amplifiers ranging from 1 KVA to 300 KVA.
• Troubleshoot amplifiers and power modules from the design schematics
• Requires using voltmeters and oscilloscopes on the electrical power systems, modules, and transformers
• Required to test and troubleshoot returned amplifier components and modules
• Answer customer inquiries or scheduling requirements through e-mail or by phone
• Training of the customer at the job site to use the equipment
Requirements:

As a Regional Sales Engineer you are responsible for sales and customer satisfaction of the full range of Data Physics Products in the assigned region. Your role includes identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, learning the customer’s business, creating leads through cold calling, networking etc. and demonstrating products as required.
You will manage customer contact information and activity through the Data Physics CRM system to assure a continuing high level of customer satisfaction. You will also provide technical guidance and assistance to external sales channels such as Sales Representatives in the assigned region and collect and deliver feedback to Product Marketing and Engineering on competitive offerings and changing customer demands.
You will perform sales forecasting, sales planning and other related sales administrative tasks, and your goal is to consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual quotas for the region. You will report to the Regional Business Manager.
Requirements:
You are expected to have sufficient technical background to develop an understanding of the full product range and the technology of the products, so you can demonstrate and apply the products to different customer applications. A good understanding of noise and vibration is required.
