Air Cooled Electrodynamic Shakers for Just About Any Vibration Test Need

Electrodynamic (ED) air cooled shakers are lower cost, more versatile and easier to install and maintain than water cooled shakers. Air cooled shakers are workhorses for sine, random, shock, transient mixed mode and long time history replication applications. High displacement options are available for requirements such as transportation testing and classical shock testing. High lateral and torsional stiffness ensure maximum stability and support.

Air-cooled electrodynamic shakers are a popular choice for many component testing applications, such as automotive assemblies and consumer electronics equipment. Many shaker models feature axial guidance bearings and 2 inches (50 mm) of displacement, with our largest air-cooled model offering 3 inches (76.2 mm) continuous displacement. Data Physics’ range of electrodynamic air-cooled shakers have found application testing in Formula 1 racing cars, mobile telephones, health & safety type approvals, materials analysis, avionics systems and electronic sub-systems testing.

Small Shaker Range
