New Advancements and Enhancements to Accelerate your Test and Measurement Capabilities

Data Physics is pleased to announce the release of Version 1.5U1 software for the SignalCalc 900 Series Signal Analyzers and Controllers. This version features the latest generation of Time History Replication Control, as well as numerous new features and improvements — along with enhanced ease of use capabilities.

Here is a brief summary of what’s new:

Time History Replication Control (RPL) – Record data in the field with your portable Abacus 900 Series hardware, bring it back to the lab and use the same unit to replicate it on your shaker with precise control. Complete with a visual time data editor for trimming and filtering, the Time History Replication Control offers an integrated hardware/software solution to record and reproduce field data in your lab.

Import user signals from external files – Import time, frequency, or octave data from external ASCII/CSV files and overlay on live or static signals. The 900 Series Software takes into account the format and scaling of the external data for an apples-to-apples comparison.

Import Random, Sine, Shock, or Mixed Mode profiles from external files – Import reference profile from an external file or simply copy/paste breakpoint table from spreadsheets to save time and eliminate typos before running a test.

Data consolidation to data server – Consolidate data from hundreds of tests from your 900 Series hardware to the data server with a single click.

Listen Channels (Playback input channel through an output channel) – Listen to the roar of an automobile or the acceleration of the train leaving the platform using the listen channel feature when the output channel is connected to a speaker or headphones.

Improved control channel selection – Pick a control/limit/measure channel in a controller test or a reference channel in an analyzer test via a graphical user interface.

ICP manual check – Perform a quick ICP check before any test to catch any issues with cables or transducers.

Clear multi-chassis channel selection – Easy and clear identification of the input channels and the corresponding BNCs on the hardware, even when using 100s of channels across multiple chassis.

Resonance Search and Dwell (RSD), use profile as dwell – Use an arbitrary profile during a dwell in an RSD test instead of constant level.

Ability to import/export time histories from WAV files – Import or export time histories to WAV (audio) files.
